Proclamation #2021-010PPROCIAATTOW
Whereas, we honor and respect our elders and citizens of any age with physical or
intellectual disabilities who reside in skilled nursing care centers in Lake
County, the City of Clermont, Florida and The Lakes of Clermont Health
and Rehabilitation Center; and
Whereas, skilled nursing care centers throughout our area are holding virtual
activities in observance of National Skilled Nursing Care Week, using this
year's theme of "Sharing Our Wisdom,"; and
Whereas, citizens are urged to virtually visit or call a loved one, family member or
friend residing in any care setting and offer a kind word and spend time
participating in various virtual activities to unite those from all walks of life
in need of our continuing love and support; and
Whereas, the City of Clermont is committed to quality health care, and so we take
this moment to embrace the essence of the theme "Sharing Our Wisdom".
All are encouraged to join with residents, patients, caregivers, nurses, other
staff and volunteers in celebrating this special week.
Now, ,rherefore, I, Tim Murry, Mayor of the City of Clermont in the State of Florida,
do hereby proclaim the Week of May 9 - 15, Two Thousand and Twenty One as:
