A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING BUDGET
AMENDMENTS FOR THE CITY OF CLERMONT FOR FISCAL YEAR
2020-2021
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that the following budget amendments are necessary for the
Fiscal Year October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021:
GENERAL FUND
1. Increase Professional Services (10510-53100) $ 2,997
To amend the City Council Department budget to fund professional
services site visit, travel costs, ads and brief books for the City Manager
executive search firm of Strategic Government Resources approved by
the City Council on April 13, 2021.
2. Increase Travel & Per Diem (10510-54001) $ 1,600
Increase Other Current Charges (10510-54900) $ 844
To amend the City Council Department budget to fund actual travel costs
(related to city manager candidates) and other current charges (food, drink
and supplies for meetings with city manager candidates).
3. Increase Professional Services City Attorney (10514-53157) $ 42,086
To amend the Legal Department budget for actual costs.
4. Increase Capital Outlay —Land (10519-66101) $
Increase Capital Outlay — Professional Services (10519-66900) $
Increase Transfer -In —Water Fund Loan (10381-38108) $
To amend the Other General Government Department budget to fund land
and professional services (survey and appraisal) related to the Trapp land
purchased on April 13, 2021 for lots at 1146 Lake Minneola Ave.
approved by the City Council on January 12, 2021.
5. Increase Capital Outlay —Land (10519-66101) $
Increase Capital Outlay — Professional Services (10519-66900) $
Increase Transfer -In — Water Fund Loan (10381-38108) $
To amend the Other General Government Department budget to fund land
and professional services (appraisal) related to the Campbell land
purchase on August 31, 2021 for lot at 1138 Lake Minneola Dr. approved
by the City Council on July 13, 2021.

actual Water sales.
11. Increase Transfer -In - From Sewer Fund Sales (10381-38110)
$ 124,400
To amend transfers in from the Sewer Fund to the General Fund based on
actual Sewer sales.

To amend the Fire Department budget to fund the remaining installment
due no later than 10/15/2021 for the purchase of 50 Self Contained
Breathing Apparatus air packs and accessories placed in service during
FY 2021 as approved by the City Council on March 9, 2021.
WATER FUND
1. Increase Transfer -Out— General Fund Loan (41581-99101) $ 353,500
To amend the Public Services Department Water Fund budget for
proceeds to fund the April 13, 2021 land purchase and professional
services (survey and appraisal) related to the Trapp land purchase of lots
at 1146 Lake Minneola Ave. approved by the City Council on January 12,
2021.
2. Increase Transfer -Out— General Fund Loan (41581-99101) $ 150,425
To amend the Public Services Department Water Fund budget for
proceeds to fund the August 31, 2021 land purchase and professional
services (appraisal) related to the Campbell land purchase of lot at 1138
Lake Minneola Dr. approved by the City Council on July 13, 2021.
3. Increase Transfer -Out —General Fund (41581-99100) $ 81,414
To fund excess transfers from the Water Fund to the General Fund based
on actual Water sales.
4. Decrease Fund Balance (41599-59900) $ 585,339

SEWER FUND
1. Increase Transfer -Out — General Fund (42581-99117) $ 124,430
To fund excess transfers from the Sewer Fund to the General Fund based
on actual Sewer sales.

To amend the Development Services CRA budget for Cost Share Pricing
for the Art Walk Project Construction approved by the City Council on
February 25, 2020.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above said budget amendments of
the City of Clermont for the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 are hereby adopted.
