Contract for Services
TIllS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~- day of
~, 1992, by and between the CITY OF CLERMONT, a Municipal

corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, hereinafter
referred to as "CITY", and ANN CARDINAL, an independent contractor, hereinafter
referred to as "CONTRACTOR".
In consideration of the sum of ONE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS
($1,000.00) together with other good and valuable considerations, the parties agree as
follows:

"CONTRACTOR" shall provide services in the form of specific secretarial
services to "CITY" under the following terms and conditions:
a)
"CONTRACTOR" shall provide the services solely for the South Lake
Council for the Arts, an advisory board to the "CITY".
b)
Said services shall be provided by "CONTRACTOR" upon request by
the South Lake Council for the Arts, said services being specific
secretarial services of preparing correspondence, etc.
c)
"CONTRACTOR" is an independent contractor and is not an employee
of the "CITY" or the South Lake Council for the Arts and is not entitled
to any of the benefits deriving therefrom.
Neither the "CITY" nor the South Lake Council for the Arts shall

exercise any control over the working hours or procedures of
"CONTRACTOR". Services shall be rendered upon request by the
South Lake Council for the Arts from time to time as such services are
needed.
"CITY" shall pay to "CONTRACTOR" the sum of ONE THOUSAND AND
NO/IOO DOLLARS ($1,000.00) payable in monthly installments of EIGHTY-
THREE AND 33/100 DOLLARS ($83.33) each month and payable at the end
of each month.

This Contract shall be for a term of one (1) year commencing October 1, 1992,
and terminating September 30, 1993; and shall thereafter be automatically
renewed from year to year unless terminated by either party upon not less than
thirty (30) days written notice to the other party prior to the end of any annual
period.
Either party may terminate this Contract by providing the other party with
thirty (30) days written notice, except that "CONTRACTOR" may terminate
this contract by providing written notice to "CITY" at any time. In the event
of termination, all sums remaining to be paid shall be canceled.
