AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT PERTAINING
TO PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED ORDINANCE NO. 221-M, PASSED
AND ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON OCTOBER 9, 1990
APPROVING A PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL LIMITS OF
CLERMONT; PROVIDING THAT THE REAL PROPERTY LISTED
IN ORDINANCE 221-M CONTAINED AN INCORRECT LEGAL
DESCRIPTION AND CORRECTING THE LEGAL TO REFER TO
AND INCLUDE THE REAL PROPERTY THAT WAS THE
SUBJECT OF THE PETITION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICT, AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont adopted Ordinance No. 221-M on
October 9, 1990 granting an annexation petition for certain real property as described in the
petition;
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 221-M when adopted included an incorrect legal description
and did not include a reference to the Parcel Id Number for the subject property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 221-M is hereby readopted and restated in its entirety as of
the date of its original adoption to include the following described property, to wit:
Tract 10, in Section 28, Township 22 South, Range 26 East, according to the Plat
of Property of Lake Highlands Company, recorded in Plat Book 2, page 28, public
records of Lake County, Florida
Parcel ID No. 09-22-26-120501000000
Section 2. Severability. It is declared to be the intent of the City Council that, if any
section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this Ordinance is for any reason held
invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deeme~a
separate, distinct and independent provision, and such holding shall not affect the validity oft e
remaining portions hereof.
Section 3. Conflict. Any portion of the Code of Ordinances, City of Clermont, Florida
or any ordinance or part thereof in conflict with this ordinance is hereby repealed to the extent lof
such conflict.

Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be published as provided by law and shall take
effect immediately upon its Second Reading and Final Passage.
