AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made this ~~

the CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA, hereinafter referred to as the "CITY", and
the EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL, hereinafter referred to
as the "ECFRPC",
WITNESSETH
THAT FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION OF the mutual undertakings of the parties to
this Agreement, the CITY and the ECFRPC hereby covenant and agree, each
with the other, as follows:
I. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE ECFRPC
Work Task #1 = Update Existing Land Use Map
Activities
a) Identify land use categories to be mapped with CITY manager
b) Review area, using aerial photographs
c) Field-check identifications of existing land uses
d) Prepare rough draft of land use map
e) Review rough draft map with CITY manager
f) Prepare reproducible base map of existing land uses
Work Task #2 = Prepare Future Land Use Map
Activities
a) Identify land use categories to be mapped with CITY manager
b) Review future growth and development philosophies with CITY
manager
c) Based on outputs from (b), prepare rough draft of future land use
map
d) Review rough draft map with CITY manager
e) Prepare reproducible base map of future land uses

Work Task #3 = Follow-Up Responsibilities
Activities
a) Meet with CITY Council and appropriate boards (e.g., Planning and
Zoning) to present and discuss maps and preparation procedures

b)
Attend public meetings and hearings to respond to questions
regarding preparation of land use maps
Work Task #4 = Final Graphics
Activities
a) Preparation and printing of report-sized (11"xI7") multi-colored
future land use maps (500 copies)
b) Preparation of reproducible base maps as identified in Task #1(f)
and #2(e).
II. PROVISION OF SERVICES
A.
Budget --

The budget established as compensation for the above-described
services' shall be based upon actual costs incurred in the
performance of the work~r.but in no case shall the amount exceed
Ei~Rt Thousand Dollar~ (tr,OOO.OO). This budget includes the
cost of preparing and printing maps according to the
specifications presented in Task #4(a) and (b). Should the CITY
desire the ECFRPC to print or reproduce additional quantities of
any product, the cost of such activity will be determined and
compensation may be handled through a Purchase Order arrangement,
or by an amendment to the budget to include the additional
services as a component to this Agreement.
B.
Time Period --
The period of time covered by this Agreement is from September 1,
1984 to November 30, 1984.

C.
Records --
An accurate record of costs incurred in providing the services
identified in this Agreement will be maintained by the ECFRPC.
D. Requisitions and Payments -
The ECFRPC shall submit approprfate invoices for payment of
services rendered during the period of the Agreement. Each
invoice will include an indication of work performed and costs
incurred by the ECFRPC during the time period covered by the
invoice.

III. AMENDMENTS
The CITY or the ECFRPC may, from time to time, recognize the need for
changes in the services provided by the ECFRPC hereunder. Such
changes, including changes in the time period, which are mutually
agreed upon by and between the CITY and the ECFRPC, shall be
incorporated in written amendments to the Agreement.
IV. TERMINATION
This Agreement may be terminated at any time by either party by giving
fifteen (15) days' written notice to the other party.
If the
Agreement is terminated by either party,
the ECFRPC shall be
compensated for work performed and costs incurred under the terms of
this Agreement.
Notice to or for the ECFRPC shall be given to or by
its Chairman.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Agreement the day
and year first above written.
