LEASE AGREEMENT FOR MUNICIPAL PARKING 81.,-.15
This Agreement is made as of the 23 day of June , 1981,

between the CLERMONT-GROVELAND ELKS e~, a non-profit Florida corporation, hereinafter
referred to as the LESSOR, and the CITY OF CLERMONT, Florida, a municipal corporation,
hereinafter referred to as the LESSEE.
WHEREAS, for the hereinafter mutual covenants and promises, the LESSOR hereby
leases unto the LESSEE the hereinafter described real property being situated in
the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida:
All of the parking area lying and being on the following
described property:
Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, and the North 60 feet of Lots 2, 4,
and 6, all in Block 80, City Blocks.
for a period of five (5) years commencing the first day of July, 1981, and ending
on the 30th day of June, 1986, and further provided that:
1. The LESSEE shall repair and maintain the above-described parking area. The
LESSEE shall keep said property in good repair for the duration of this Agreement.
2. The LESSEE shall have the privilege of installing appropriate directional
or information signs at locations determined, at its discretion, indicating that the
subject area is open to public parking. The LESSEE shall use and occupy the premises
solely for municipal parking.
3. Nothing in this Agreement shall prohibit the C1ermont-Grove1and Elks Lodge
from utilizing the parking area for its regularly scheduled meetings.
4. The LESSOR shall keep current all county and city taxes and all special
assessments.
5. CANCELLATION: Either party may cancel this Lease by giving the other party
sixty (60) days or more written notice in advance. The C1ermont-Grove1and Elks Club,
may additionally cancel this Lease in the event the LESSEE shall breach any of the
terms of this Lease.
