1976-08AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into by and between the CITY OF CLERMOtIT,
a municipal corporation existing under the laws of the State of Florida, and
the TOWN OF MINNEOLA, a municipal corporation existing under the laws of the
State of Florida" this j..lj" day of

HEREAS. the TOWN OF MINNEOLA has reques ted the CITY OF. CLERMONT
to provide dispatching service for the TOWN OF MINNEOLA POLICE DEPARTMENT, and
WHEREAS, the CITY OF CLERMONT has determined that it can adequately
provide dispatching service for the TOWN OF MINNEOLA subject to the conditions
outlined herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
1. The CITY OF CLERMONT shall provide dispatch service for the
TOWN OF MINNEOLA POLICE DEPARTME~T from the hours of 5;00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.,
Monday through Friday; and from 5:00 p.m. Friday until 8:00 a.m. Monday, each
week. In addition, the service will be provided all day on July 4th, Labor
Day, Thanksgiving Day and.Christmas Day.
2. The dispatch service shall include:
a. Receipt of communications requesting the service of the TOWN
OF MINNEOLA POLICE DEPARTMENT on the Minneola Police telephone number and advising
the appropriate officers of the communications.
b. Recording of radio logs required by the Federal Communications
Commission, which shall be recorded on the City of Clermont's radio log.
3. The dispatch service does not include the preparation of complaint
forms, which shall be the responsibility of the TOWN OF MINNEOLA, nor the use of
Clermont's recording equipment.
4. The TOWN OF MINNEOLA shall provide the following:
a. All equipment and maintenance thereon necessary to implement
the dispatch service, including, but not limited to, installation of separate
telephone in the Clermont Police Station, radio equipment in police cars, schedule
of officers on duty.
5. This agreement may be terminated in the following manner:
a. Written notice from the TOWN OF MINNEOLA to the CITY OF CLERMONT
of any termination date, or

b. At least thirty (30) days written notice from the CITY OF
CLERMONT to the TOWN OF MINNEOLA of any proposed termination date, or
c. This agreement shall terminate on September 30, 1977, unless
renewed by the respective parties in writing.
6. In consideration of the premises, the TOWN OF MINNEOLA shall pay
to the CITY OF CLERMONT the sum of $500.00 per month, payable in advance on the
first day of each and every month.
7. This agreement shall take effect on the r day of fYrk1M.
