1966-07LEASE
THIS INDENTURE of Lease entered this 22nd day
of July, 1966, Between the CITY OF CLERMONT, a municipal cor-
poration, hereinafter referred to as Lessor, and IRIS WESTBERG,
doing business as Landseair of Clermont, hereinafter referred to as
Lessee:
The parties hereto, in consideration of the mutual
covenants and promises contained herein, do hereby agree as follows:
1. The Lessor hereby agrees to lease the following
described real property to the Lessee on the terms and conditions as
set forth herein:
Lot 19 of Block 80, according to the
Official Map of the City of Clermont,
Florida; Also known as the "old Chamber
of Commerce Building
2. The Lessor acknowledges the receipt of FORTY
FIVE ($45.00) DOLLARS which shall reprerent the rental fee for the
fast month of this lease.
3. The Lessee shall pay the Lessor the sum of THIRTY
FIVE ($35.00) DOLLARS per month beginning the 1st day of September,
1966, and THIRTY FIVE ($ 35 . 00) DOLLARS on the first of each month
thereafter until September 1, 1967; at that time the Lessee shall pay to
the Lessor the sum of FORTY FIVE ($45.00) DOLLARS on the first of
every month for the next succeeding twenty-four (24) months. It being
understood that the FORTY FIVE ($45.00) DOLLARS deposited herein
shall be applied as the last month's rent under this agreement.
4. The Lessee shall have the option to renew this lease
at the rate of FORTY FIVE ($45.00) DOLLARS per month for an additional
thirty-six (36) months upon written notice to the Lessor of her intention
to do so at least ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of this
Lease. The terms and conditions of this renewal shall be the same
as the terms and conditions of this Lease.
5. The Lessor shall maintain the septic facilities
on the subject property in a manner acceptable to the duly appointed
health authorities.
6. The Lessor shall maintain adequate fire and hazard
insurance on the subject property.
7. The Lessee shall pay for all utilities consumed on
the premises during the term of this Lease.
8. The Lessee hereby agr.ees to hold the Lessor ab-
solutely harmless for any damage or injury incurred by her or her
clients and to her, her property or her client's property.
9. The Lessor hereby consents to the Lessee's entering
upon the property on or after August 1, 1966, and proceeding with any
minor repairs, alterations and decorating that she deems necessary;
all such repairs to be paid for in full by the Lessee.
10. The Lessee hereby covenants not to allow any
liens, attachments or claims of any kind whatsoever to be levied against
the subject property and the Lessor hereby proclaims that this Lease
in no way authorizes the Lessee to subject the subject property to any
liens, encumbrances or claims whatsoever.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that on this day, before me,
