AN ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY
ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF 7.5 FOOT WIDE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENTS LYING BETWEEN LOTS 23, 24 AND 25 OF EDGEWOOD LAKE
SUBDIVISION, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF AS RECORDED IN PLAT
BOOK 34, PAGES 97 AND 98, PUBLIC RECORDS OF LAKE COUNTY FLORIDA;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Council of the City of Clennont, Lake County, Florida hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1:
That portion of 7.5 foot wide drainage and utility easements located within the City of
Clennont, Lake County, Florida as hereinafter described is hereby closed and pennanently
abandoned:
The portion of7.5 foot wide drainage and utility easements lying between lots 23,
24 and 25, Edgewood Lake Subdivision, according to the Plat thereof as recorded
in Plat Book 34, Pages 97 and 98, Public Records of Lake County Florida.
SECTION 2:
This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the Charter of the City of Clennont, Lake
County, Florida and the general laws of the State of Florida.
SECTION 3:
All ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4:
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply to or affect any other provision of this Ordinance,
except to the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning
and effect from the section to which such holding shall apply.
First Reading this 14tb day of November, 2000.
Second Reading this 28tb day of November, 2000.

Any person requesting a Right-of-way or Easement Closing shall file a comDlete application in
the office of the Director of Planning thirty (30) days prior to the final hearing date of the City
Council. All applications must be comDlete, to include applicable site plans and/or other
pertinent descriptive materials in order to be processed. The applicant must supplv fifteen (15)
copies of the application and supplemental materials.
The petitioner shaD furnish the foDowing information to accompany this application:
1. A plot plan showing the location of that portion of the right-of-way or easement requested to
be dosed and pennanently abandoned. (A survey of the property and right-of-way or
easement involved may be deemed necessary by the City Council or the City Attomey).

2. A fee of $25 .00.
