1956-02THIS LEASE, Made this 1st day of March 1956
A. D. 1956. By and between BOWMAN & BROWN, INC a Florida
Corporation, of Clermont, Florida, herein called the lessor,
and CITY OF CLERMONT, a Municipal Corporation, of Lake County,
Florida, herein called the lessee,
WITNESSETH, That in consideration of the covenants
herein contained on the part of the said lessee to be kept
and performed, the said lessor does hereby lease to said lessee,
the following described property:
West Twenty (20) feet of Lot Twelve (12),
Block Eighty (80), as represented on the
Official Map of the City of Clermont, filed
2/4/26 and recorded in Plat Book 8, pages
17-23, inclusive, Public Records of Lake
County, Florida.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same from March 1, 1956
to January 1st, 1957, paying therefore on November 1, 1956,
a sum equal to the taxes assessed for the year 1956 by the
City of Clermont. Not to use the premises for any other pur-
pose other than for an off-street public parking, and not to
sublet or assign this lease. Lessee to maintain insurance
as will protect lessor from any and all liability for damages
for personal injury, including death, which may arise by the
lawful use of these premises by the general public.
Either party may cancel this lease on thirty (30)
days written notice.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the respective corporations have
caused their common seals to be affixed hereto by the respect-
ive officers.
