THIS LEASE, Made and entered into this 15th day of
March, 1955, By and Between R. C. CANTWELL, Lessor, and the
CITY OF CLERMONT, a Municipal Corporation, Lessee,
WITNESSETH, that in consideration of the covenants
herein contained, on the part of the said lessee to be kept
and performed, the said lessor does hereby lease to the said
lessee the following described property in Lake County,
Florida;
Lots 12 & 13, Block 55, as represented on the
Official Map of the City of Clermont, filed on
214/26 and recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17 to 23,
both inclusive, public record~ of Lake County,
Florida.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the same for the term of twenty-
two (22) months from date hereof, the lessee paying therefor
the annual rent equal to the amount of taxes levied and
assesed by the City of Clermont.
Lessee covenants to use the premises as a public
parking lot without charge to the public, and to keep same
fully insured to protect the lessor. To quit and deliver up
the premises at the expiration of this lease.
Lessors and lessee each reserve unto themselves the
right to cancel this lease upon written notice to the other
party 30 days before desire to terminate same, but when
terminated the lessee shall pay the required rent to the
lessee for the current year in which same is terminated by
either party.
