A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE SMALL CITIES
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT
OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2000
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont desires to submit an application to the Florida
Department of Community Affairs for a Small Cities Community Development Block Grant in
the Commercial category to benefit persons of low and moderate income.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Clermont as
1. That the City of Clermont hereby authorizes the filing of an application for a Community
Development Block Grant; and
. 2. That the Mayor of the City of Clermont is hereby authorized to execute ali documents
required in connection with the filing of said application to be submitted on May 31,
2000.
THIS RESOLUTION shall take effect upon its passage and adoption in the manner
provided by law.

CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA THIS 23`" DAY OF MAY, 2000.
