RESOLUTION
No. 1110
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE REVISED ADOPTED EVALUATION
AND APPRAISAL REPORT.
WHEREAS, Chapter 163.3191, Florida Statutes, requires local governments to
prepare an Evaluation and Appraisal Report; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 9J-33.005, Florida Administrative Code, states that local
governments shall adopt and submit their Evaluation and Appraisal Reports to the Florida
Department of Community Affairs by May 1, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, in its role as the Local
Planning Agency, prepared this report and held two properly noticed hearings to publicly
review the report on February 3 and 16, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont reviewed the report in a
workshop March 5, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont adopted by resolution the
Evaluation and Appraisal Report on Apri128, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Community Affairs completed its
sufficiency review of the City of Clermont's Evaluation and Appraisal Report on July 2,
1998 and determined that it did not meet the requirements of Chapter 163, Part II, Florida
Statutes, for sufficiency as defined in Subsection 163.3191(9); and
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Community Affairs advised the City of
Clermont to revise its adopted Evaluation and Appraisal Report;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, that the Revised Adopted Evaluation and Appraisal Report is
adopted and shall be submitted to the Department of Community Affairs.
