RESOLUTION
NO. 1568
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT
ESTABLISHING PARKING VIOLATIONS FEES AND LATE FEES AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont pursuant to its authority as a municipal corporation under the laws
of the State of Florida, and as set forth in Section 62-36 of the Clermont City Code has the authority to
establish parking violations fines and applicable late fees specifically prescribed by state law; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Florida, as
follows:
Section 1.
The City Council does hereby establish that the following fines and late fees shall apply to parking
violations, except for those established by State law. A copy of this Resolution shall be kept on file in the
Office of the City Manager and the Police Department.
If paid within ten (10) calendar days of the citation date: $25
If not paid within ten (10) calendar days of the citation date: $50
Section 2.
Any resolution previously adopted by the City Council and in conflict herewith is hereby repealed to the
extent of the conflict.
Section 3.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
DONE AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA THIS 10 DAY OF JUNE 2008.
