RESOLUTION
No. 1053
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENTS TO THE
GENERAL FUND FOR THE CITY OF CLERMONT FOR FISCAL YEAR
1997-1998.
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida, that the following budget amendments are necessary to the General Fund of said City for the
Fiscal Year October 1, 1997 to September 30, 1998, as follows:

GENERAL GOVERNMENT
1. Increase Professional Services - Recodification (10511-53156) $ 5,197
To carry forward unexpended funds from the 1996-97 Fiscal Year,
for the completion of the recodification of the City Code of Ordinances.
2. Increase Salaries -Regular (10511-12100) $ 1,660
To appropriate funds for the cost of the November, 1997 election
Workers.
3. Increase Capital Outlay -Equipment (10512-66401) $ 2,489
To appropriate funds for the replacement of the Deputy City Clerk
personal computer and software, as approved by the City Council.
4. Increase Demolitions (10515-54910) $ 3,385
To appropriate funds for the demolition of a structure located at
634 E. Minneola Avenue.

5. Increase Professional Services -Software (10519-53152)
To appropriate additional funds for consulting fees for the
Year 2000 computer project, as approved by the City Council.
6. Increase Capital Outlay -Equipment (10519-66401)
To appropriate additional funds for the purchase of computer
software for the City's Staff Engineer, as approved
by the City Council.
PUBLIC SAFETY
7. Increase Professional Services -Impact Fee (10521-53164)
To appropriate additional funds for the Impact Fee Study, as
approved by the City Council.
8. Increase Self- Insurance Liability claims (10521-54501)
To appropriate funds for the payment of the City's Insurance
deductible regarding a vehicular accident in October, 1996.
9. Increase Capital Outlay -Equipment (10521-66401)
Increase Reimbursements (10369-36999)
To appropriate additional funds for the purchase of City-Wide
communication equipment and partial reimbursement from
Lake County, as approved by the City Council.
10. Increase Capital Outlay -Land (10522-66101)
To appropriate funds for the purchase of property for the new
Fire Station building, as approved by the City Council.

11. Increase Repair/Maintenance -Streets (10541-54603)
To carry forward unexpended funds from the 1996-97
Fiscal Year, for the City's street resurfacing program.
12. Increase Capital Outlay -Streets (10541-66304)
To carry forward unexpended funds from the 1996-97
Fiscal Year, for the completion of the East Avenue/Osceola
Street construction project.
•13. Increase Capital Outlay -Streets (10541-66304)
To appropriate funds for the construction of a 12`" Street
driveway that will access the Wright property, as approved
by the City Council.
14. Increase Capital Outlay -Streets (10541-66304)
Increase Reimbursements - (].0369-36999)
To appropriate funds for improvements to Anderson Street
and to recognize corresponding reimbursements from
adjoining property owners.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
15. Increase Capital Outlay -Land (10542-66101)
To appropriate funds for the purchase of property for the
relocation of the Waterfront Park Boat Ramp, as approved
by the City Council.
16. Increase Capital Outlay -Recreation (10542-66301)
Increase Transfer from Infrastructure Fund (10381-38104)
Increase Grant -South Lake Foundation (10337-33770)
• Increase Grant -Lake County (10337-33733)
To appropriate funds for the completion of Phase I of the
McKinney Park and corresponding funding sources, as
approved by the City Council.

To appropriate the transfer of Fire and Police Impact Fees
collected in excess of Budget Projections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above said budget amendments for the
General Fund of the City of Clermont for the 1997-98 Fiscal Year and appropirations therefore are
hereby adopted.
