R-99-1051• • .7 CITY OF CLERMONT RESOLUTION No. 1051 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE TEMPORARY OPERATION OF A CHURCH IN THE C-1 LIGHT COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida at a meeting held February 2, 1999 recommended approval of this Conditional Use Permit to allow the temporary operation of a Church in the C-1 Light Commercial District at the following location: LOCATION 655 West Broome Street The City Council deems it advisable in the interest of the general welfare of the City of Clermont, • Lake County, Florida to grant this Conditional Use Permit; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida that: SECTION 1. This application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the temporary operation of a Church located in the C-1 Light Commercial District be granted subject to the following conditions: 1. The conditions as set forth in this Conditional Use Permit shall be legally binding upon any heirs, assigns and/or successors in title or interest. 2. In addition to the present use as the Women's Club, the property may be used as a temporary Church facility only. No expansion of the use or additions to the facility shall be permitted except as approved by another Conditional Use Permit. 3. The Conditional Use Permit for a temporary church facility shall be permitted for a period of one (1) year from the date of formal grant by the City Council. • 4. This permit shall become null and void if the church use has not began customary function within six (6) months from the date of formal grant by the City Council. • • • CITY OF CLERMONT RESOLUTION No. 1051 Page-2- 5. The final Certificate of Occupancy shall not be issued until each of the stated conditions has been met. 6. If in the future parking at the facility proves inadequate the Conditional Use Permit may be rescinded by resolution of the City Council. 7. If any of the stated conditions are violated, the applicant understands and agrees that the City Council may revoke this Conditional Use Permit by Resolution.
