RESOLUTION N0. 780
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, DECLARING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AS SURPLUS
PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AT
PRIVATE SALE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont owns fee simple title to the
following described real property:
The North 50 feet of the West 268.72 feet of the following
described parcel:
The West 1/2 of Tract 5, in Section 20, Township 22 South,
Range 26 East, according to the Plat of Lake Highlands Company,
recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 30, Public Records of Lake
County, Florida, less and except the North 324.2 feet of the
West 268.72 feet thereof.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont has determined
the above-described real property is not needed for any municipal
purpose and should be declared surplus property, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont has determined
that said surplus property should be sold at fair market value at
private sale, and
WHEREAS, OHM MATERIALS, INC., has offered to pay the fair market
value of SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS
($7,750.00) cash to the City of Clermont for the surplus property.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Clermont, hereby
ordains that:
1. The following described real property owned by the City of
Clermont is hereby declared surplus property:

Florida, less and except the North 324.2 feet of the West
268.72 feet thereof.
2. The above described real property shall be sold at private
sale to OHM MATERIALS, INC., a Florida corporation, for the sales
price of SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS
($7,750.00).
3. The Mayor and the City of Clermont are hereby authorized to
execute all appropriate documents to effect the transfer and sale.
4. This Resolution shall become effective upon its adoption.
