A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO AMEND
SECTION 1, CONDITION 7 OF RESOLUTION N0.945 TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION
OF A SOLID CONCRETE BLOCK PERIMETER WALL ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 27.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida at a meeting held January 3, 1998 recommended approval of this Conditional Use Permit
to amend Section 1, Condition 7 of Resolution No. 945 to allow construction of a solid concrete
block perimeter wall along U. S. Highway 27, at the following location:

The City Council deems it advisable in the interest of the general welfare of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida to grant this Conditional Use Permit;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida that:
This application for a Conditional Use Permit to amend Section 1, Condition 7 of
Resolution No. 945 to allow construction of a solid concrete block perimeter wall along U. S.
Highway 27 be granted subject to the following conditions:
Approval of the amendment shall be conditioned upon compliance with all previous
conditions as specified in Resolution No. 945.
2. Section 1, Condition 7 of Resolution No. 945 shall be amended to read as follows:
The developer/permittee shall install a six (6) foot high concrete block perimeter wall
adjacent to all residential uses and the north and south boundaries of the property. A
concrete block wall shall be provided adjacent to U.S. Highway 27. In addition to the
perimeter wall, a five (5) foot wide, opaque vegetative buffer shall be required adjacent to
all residential uses. Other required landscape buffering and screening shall be as approved
by the City Site Review Committee.
