No. 930
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE PROPRIETY AND ADVISABILITY OF MAKING
IlVIPROVEMENTS TO OSCEOLA STREET, PROVIDING FOR
THE LOCATION OF SAID IlVIPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR
THE COST OF SAID IlVIPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR THE
A~ANNER OF PAYMENT FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS;
PROVIDING FOR THE AMOUNT TO BE ASSESSED AGAINST
ADJACENT PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR MAILING OF SAID
NOTICE TO AFFECTED PROPERTY OWNERS; AND
PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION OF SAID NOTICE.
. The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, hereby
ordains that:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 170.07, Florida Statutes, the City Council
hereby provides for a public hearing at the City Council Chambers, Clermont,
Florida, on the 10th day of December, 1996.
SECTION 2. The purposes of the said public hearing are as follows:
(1). To provide a hearing at which the owners of the property to
be assessed or any other persons interested therein may
appear before the City Council and be heard as to the
propriety and advisability of making such improvements, as
to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment therefor,
and as to the amount thereof to be assessed against such
property so improved.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is directed to provide ten (10) days' notice in
writing of such time and place of the said public hearing to each property owner of
each parcel to be assessed. Said notice shall include the amount of the assessment and
• shall be served by mailing a copy to each of such property owners at his last known
address, the names and addresses of such property owners to be obtained from the

records of the property appraiser or from such other sources as the City Clerk deems
reliable; proof of such mailing to be made by the affidavit of the City Clerk.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is directed to publish notice of the time and
place of the said public hearing by two (2) publications a week apart in a newspaper
of general circulation, provided that the last publication be at least one (1) week prior
to the public hearing. The said notice shall describe the streets to be improved and
advise all persons interested that the description of each property to be assessed and
the amount to be assessed to each piece or parcel of property may be ascertained at
the office of the City Clerk.
