RESOLUTION
No. 894
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, EST ABLISIDNG A
PARKING SPACE EXCHANGE FEE FOR THE
CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont Land Development Regulations as adopted
by Code Ordinance No. 281-C, Chapter 7, establishes provisions for a Central
Business District parking space exchange, and
WHEREAS, a provision is made for a one-time parking exchange fee to be
established by Resolution of the City Council,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Florida, as follows:
Section 1:
That the one-time parking space exchange fee shall be $1,500 for each parking
space.
Section 2:
Central Business District parking fees shall be deposited into the Central
Business District Parking Fund and shall be used only for the provision of additional
parking spaces in the Central Business District and may be used for, but not limited to
acquisition of land and construction and maintenance of parking spaces for public use.
Section 3:
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval, and
being posted or published as required by law.
