CITY OF CLERMONT
RESOLUTION
No. 869 ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE LOCATION OF THE
FLORIDA AGRICULTURAL MUSEUM IN LAKE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, Lake County is a county rich in agricultural tradition;
WHEREAS, major transportation systems intersect in Lake County serving as a
gateway of tourism into the State of Florida;
.
WHEREAS, Lake County and Florida have a treasure of agricultural artifacts
and working farms that, assembled in one location, would provide for the education
and furtherance of tradition for all visitors and future generations;
. WHEREAS, there now is an opportunity for the location of such a museum in
Lake County, providing that the Agricultural Museum Board of Directors, Lake
County Board of County Commissioners, and the citizens of Lake County support said
efforts of its location here,
WHEREFORE, it is resolved that the City Council of the City of Clermont
endorses the locating of the Florida Agricultural Museum in Lake County.

CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA THIS 27TH DAY OF JUNE, 1995.
