Asbury Floyd. City of Clermont

WHEREAS, Asbury Floyd was born on November 3, 1929 in Yalaha,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, he became a master plumber and he and his wife Pearl raised
three children and are proud grandparents of three grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, he has been an active church and community volunteer for over
40 years, serving the Macedonia Church of God by Faith as Chairman for the Deacon
Board and the Building Fund, Sunday School Superintendent, and member of the
Annex committee; and
WHEREAS, he has also served for the church in District and National
capacities; and
WHEREAS, he has served the community as a Clermont Auxiliary Policeman;
and
WI~REAS, we are pleased to join with his many good friends and relatives in
extending our best wishes on this happy occasion; and
NOW, THEREFORE, I Robert A. Pool by virtue of the authority vested in
me as Mayor of the City of Clermont in the State of Florida do honor Asbury Floyd
for his many years of service and bestow our best wishes for many years of health and
happiness in the years ahead.
