CONSTITUTION WEEK PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, September 17, 1986, marks the one hundred ninety-ninth
anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of the United
States of America by the Constitutional Convention: and
WHEREAS, It is fitting end proper to accord official recognition to
this memorable anniversary, and to the patriotic exercises
that will commemorate the occasion, and
WHEREAS, Public Law No. 915, guarantees the issuing of a proclamation
each year by the President of the United States of America
designating September 17 through September 23 as Constitution
Week,
NOW, THEREFORE, I Robert A Pool by virtue of the authority vested in me
as Mayor of the City of Clermont in the State of Florida do
hereby proclaim the week of September 17 through 23 as
Constitution Week, in the City of Clermont, and urge all our
citizens to pay special attention during that week to our
Federal Constitution nad the advantage of American Citizenship.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of
the City to be affixed at Clermont this fifteenth day of the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighty-six and
the Independence of the United States of America, the two
hundred and tenth.
