MAYORAL PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the Little League organization promotes the principles
of good sportsmanlike conduct, teamwork and determination; and
WHEREAS, these 217 members of Little League represent the young
people of our community who will have important roles to play in
the future development of our City and County; and
WHEREAS, the success of Little League would not be possible
without the tremendous support of parents, coaches and the citizens
of our community;
NOW THEREFORE, I Robert A. Pool, Mayor of the City of Clermont,
do hereby proclaim Saturday, March 8, 1986 as:
CLERMONT/MINNEOLA LITTLE LEAGUE DAY IN CLERMONT
to honor the participants in Little League activities. It's young
people like these who make the City of Clermont such a nice place in
which to live and work.
