MAYORAL PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Epsilon Sigma Alpha International is a women's
leadership-service organization celebrating its 55th Anniversary
this year; and
WHEREAS, there are 1,300 chapters and more than 20,000 members
serving the communities, states and nations of the world; and
WHEREAS, the six chapters throughout the City of Clermont,
Alpha Eta, Alpha Omicron, Beta Theta, Delta Nu, Kappa Alpha and
Zeta Xi have worked for the betterment of our City through
philanthropic activities that are beneficial to the citizens of
Clermont as well as to the children and all citizens of the
world; and
WHEREAS, the Clermont members. of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Inter-
national have been recognized by their organization for excelling
in leadership training, educational programs and personal development;
NOW, THEREFORE, I Charles B. Beals, Mayor of the City of Clermont,
do hereby proclaim May 1, 198 as:
ESA FOUNDER'S DAY
in the City of Clermont, in honor of 55 years of service and leadership
by this outstanding organization.
