Employ the Older Worker Week~rocCarnation
MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, approximately one-half of the total population
of Lake County is forty-five years of age or older; and
WHEREAS, older workers are valuable to employers because
they have had a great deal of experience; and
WHEREAS, "Employ the Older Worker Week" has been established
by Governor Bob Graham to recognize the achievements of the older
experienced worker, and bring this to the attention of employers,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Clermont, Florida
hereby proclaims the week of March 11-17, 1984, as
EMPLOY THE OLDER WORKER WEEK
to bring to the attention of employers the value of hiring an
older experienced worker in Clermont.
