WHEREAS, It is the privilege and duty of the American people
to commemorate the one hundred eighty-seventh
anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of
the United States of America with appropriate ceremonies
and activities: and
WHEREAS. Public Law No. 915 guarantees the issuing of a
proclamation, by the President of the United ~~tates
of America, designating September 17 through 23, of
each year, as Constitution Week,
N0~1, THEREFORE, I George J. Schroedel as Mayor Pro-tem of the City
of Clermont do hereby proclaim the week of September 17
through 23, 1974, as
CONSTITUTION WEEK
and urge all citizens to study the Constitution to
express gratitude for the privilege of American
citizenship i_n our Republic functioning under the
superb body of laws - the Constitution of thF Ur_ited
States of America.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and
caused the Seal of the City to be affixed at Clermont
