PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Governor Reuben O D. Askew has charged various State
Agencies with the task of informing Florida service men and their dependents,
and veterans and their dependents, of the many State and Federal benefits
available to them; and
WHEREAS, Eustis has been selected as the site of such program
called Vet Cap (Veterans Assistance Community Program) on Tuesday, March
20, 1973 at the National Guard Armory;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Don E. Smith, Mayor of the City of Clermont,
in the State of Florida, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the
laws of said City and State, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, March 20, 1973
to be
VET CAP DAY
and do so urge all concerned to avail themselves of this service.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the
Seal of the City of Clermont, Florida, to be affixed this 13th day of
March, 1973.
