CONSTITUTION WEEK PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS , I t i s the pri vi 1 ege and duty of the American people to
commemorate the one hundred eight-fourth anniversary
of the adoption of the Constitution of the United States
of America with appropri ate ceremonies and acts vi ties ;
and
WHEREAS, Public Law fro. 915 guarantees the issuing of a proclamation
by the President of the United States of America
designating September 17 through 23 of each year as
Constitution Week ,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DON E. St9ITH, as Mayor of the City of Clermont,
Florida do hereby proclaim the week of September 17
through 23, 1971 as
CONSTITUTION WEEK
and urge all citizens to study the Constitution, to
express gratitude for the privilege of American
citizenship in our Republic functioning under the super
body of 1 aws - the Cons ti tuts on of the United States of
America.
