Alta Trask DayCity of Clermont • Proclamation Alta Task Day WHEREAS, Ms. Alta Trask has been a Lake County resident for 27 years. A retired teacher and administrator, Ms. Trask has a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Kent State University in Ohio and has done graduate work at Ohio State University; and WHEREAS, Ms. Trask is a resident of the City of Eustis and is active in her community, a former Mayor and Commissioner, as well as proactive in Lake County Government; and WHEREAS, Ms. Task has been the Executive Secretary for the Lake County League of Cities, a member of the First Church of Christ, as well as a member of her local library, museum and garden club; and WIIEREAS, Upon her retirement in May 2004 as the Executive Secretary for the Lake County League of Cities; Mrs. Alta Trask has had a profound effect on the face of Lake County during the past three decades. All citizens living and working in this great county befitted from her tireless efforts to enrich their lives. • NOW, THEREFORE, I, Harold S. Turville, Jr. by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the City of Clermont, do hereby proclaim the 12th Day of November, 2004 as Alta Trask Day in the City of Clermont. I applaud and commend her for the commitment and dedication that she has made to her family, friends and community. I call upon all citizens and civic organizations to recognize her and thank her for her many contributions.
