The general election (a special election) of the City of Clermont shall be held
on the 5th day of November, 1996, between the hours of seven o'clock A.M. and
seven o'clock P.M. Eastern Standard Time in the Jenkins Auditorium located at 691
Montrose Street, and the South Lake Presbyterian Church located at 131 Chestnut
Street. The purpose of this election is to elect:
City Council Member to Group I (Two Year Term)
City Council Member to Group III (Mayor) (Two Year Term)
City Council Member to Group V (Two Year Term)
• A primary election will be held on the 1st day of October, 1996 in the event
there are more than two candidates who qualify for any one of the above seats
between the same hours and in the same location as the General Election.
